What is HealthPractice?
HealthPractice is a cloud-based practice management and electronic health records (EHR) platform for clinics and hospitals. Appointments, patient records, visits, billing, inpatient wards, and reports live in one place — so your team spends less time on paperwork and more time with patients. Practices across physiotherapy, mental health, dentistry, pediatrics, orthopedics, dermatology, and rehabilitation run on HealthPractice.
How do I get started?
Set up your practice in minutes: choose a plan, create your account (or sign up with Google), and start booking. Your practice comes pre-loaded with sensible defaults — visit types, billing items, tax settings, and more — so there's nothing to configure before your first appointment.
Is there a free trial?
Yes. Paid plans come with a 30-day free trial — no credit card required. Prefer to start small? The Free plan is free forever and supports up to 100 patients.
Do I need to install any software?
No — HealthPractice runs entirely in your web browser. Care providers can also download the free HealthPractice mobile app for iOS and Android to stay on top of their day from anywhere.
How do I add my team?
Invite staff by email, and they set their own password on first sign-in. Assign ready-made roles — Practice Admin, Care Provider, Nurse, Receptionist, Billing Manager, Ward Manager — or build custom roles that control exactly who can view, add, edit, delete, or print in each module.
Can I manage multiple branches or locations?
Yes. HealthPractice is built for multi-branch organizations: run every location under one account while keeping staff, patients, appointments, and billing organized per branch.

How does appointment scheduling work?
Your calendar is built for clinic life: book, confirm, reschedule, or cancel in a couple of clicks, and track arrivals, completions, and no-shows as the day unfolds. Set up recurring appointments for ongoing treatment plans, and collect an advance at booking when you need to.
Can HealthPractice send reminders to my patients?
Yes. Send appointment, billing, and prescription reminders by email, SMS, WhatsApp, and in-app notification. You choose which events send notifications, who receives them — patients, providers, or both — and how far in advance reminders go out. Notifications are available on the Clinic plan and above.
How do patients pay their bills?
Connect your payment gateway and patients can pay online — from the patient portal or through a payment link you share — with settlements going directly to your bank account. Front-desk payments by cash, card, or patient advance are captured in billing too, and every transaction posts to a full accounting ledger automatically.
Can I manage inpatient admissions, wards, and beds?
Yes. Set up wards, rooms, and beds, assign patients to beds on admission, and manage the stay all the way through discharge — including discharge summaries. Ward management is available on plans built for inpatient care.
Can I print prescriptions, certificates, and referral letters?
Yes. Generate printable prescriptions, fitness and medical certificates, referral letters, and bills from customizable templates — pre-filled from the patient's record and ready to print or share.
What reports and insights do I get?
Track revenue by patient, payment type, and treatment; keep an eye on overdue patients; and review patient and visit trends — all from the Reports module, ready to download and print.
